Heritage Harbour is nestled over one thousand acres that encompass approximately half of which is dedicated to open space reserved for trees and the riverbanks of the South River and Broad Creek.

 

Heritage Harbour is a peninsula nestled between the South River on the west and Broad Creek on the east. Within the community is a nine-hole executive length golf course. Within a short ten-mile distance

are numerous other golf courses, included the Dwight D Eisenhower, which is operated by Anne Arundel County. If tenis is your game, there are four well-lit tennis courts within Heritage Harbour.

 

Perhaps the focal point of the community is the Community Lodge. This beautiful $3 million buidling contains a 450 seat auditorium with stage and dance floor, a library, fireplace lounge, card and game rooms, billiard room, arts and crafts room, a complete television production studio, greenhouse and kitchen and bar facilities available to use for your private parties. On the lower level of he lodge are indoor swimming pool, large deck area, shuffleboard and horseshoe courts and a winding walkway

leading down to the South River.

 

 The beautiful Cheaspeake Bay is a short 12 miles from Heritage Harbour.  The Bay is world famous for its boating and fishing activities. The historic city of Annapolis is also world class sailing center, if boating is your sport.  There are many boat docks near Heritage Harbour where you could dock your boat in the water. There is also a recreational vehicle storage area available in Heritage Harbour.

 

 

 

The U.S. Naval Academy features many sporting activities and the cities of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. are short distance away for major league sports.

January 5

Bust to B & O museum Baltimore, Md

Senior tickes price is $12.  There is a special Civil War exhibit featuring the significane of the railroad during that era in history. The War Came By Train, " a 150" Anniversary of the Civil War is the featured exhibit.  


January 12

Bus to Harrington Raceway and Casino, Harrington, DE

This is a requested trip due to the success of the previous ones.  Please bring a valid ID and bring your players club card if you have one.  We will receive $10. in free play and stay for four hours.  There are various eating places for lunch.


January 19

Bust to Millennium Stage at The Kennedy Center, Washington, Dc

Tickes are free; we will not know what the performance will be. Dinner at the Kennedy Centr Cafe.


January 26

Bus to the Sports Museums at Camden Yards, Baltimore, MD

You will visit two sports museums, the Babe Ruth Brithplace Museum and Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards.  You'll spend time at one museum; then be picked up and spend time at the other.


February 2 

Bus to the Arundel Mills Mall, Hanover, MD

If you got some gift cards for Christmas, here's your opportunity for a different venue of shopping!  Lunch at Timbuktu, famous for their lump crab carkes.

Bus to the Bay Theatre, West Street, Annapolis, Md

Bus to the Surratt House Museum, Clinton, Md

Enjoy a lesson in history by visiting the Surratt House, home of Mary Surratt, the first women to be executed for being implicated in Abraham Lincoln's assassination. Lunch will be at a local eatery.


March 1

Bus to Colonial Players, Annapolis, MD
